February 2011 - We are pleased to be supporting the NICEIC apprentice initiative with our own student Jake Green. The NICEIC apprenticeship course has been run in conjunction with Bedford College and is the first of its kind in the country. It aims to set the standard for quality electrical apprenticeship training, equiping students with the lastest skills and techniques to succeed in the electircal industry.

05/11/2010 – Bierce Wins Employer of The Year
Following on from successfully winning the Hunts Post Business Awards overall Business of the Year category in 2009, Bierce Technical Services owners of Anvil Electrics are now proud to have been crowned Employer of The Year 2010. The award was sponsored by the Luminus Group with Bierce Technical Services were chosen from a shortlist of highly prestigious companies. Bierce were praised for the family atmosphere prevalent throughout the business and the wide range of support the company offers to its employees.

10/10/2010 - Bierce Technical Services/Anvil Electrics Team Fun Run
A team from Anvil Electrics have recently completed the 4km Great Eastern Fun Run at Peterborough in aid of Age Concern as members of the Safe Local Trades group that supported the event. Everyone had a great time completing the race and we are very pleased to have been able to help Safe Local Trades beat their target of raising £2010.10 by the day of the race. We are proud to support the good work of Age Concern and are looking forward to running again next year....
